Dog Photography in the Olympic Peninsula

I tend to joke that it’s just the cows, lavender, and me up here but there’s more to it than that. Tucked away in the corner of Washington is one of the most remarkable landscapes you’ll ever experience. Every trail, beach, and mossy forest offers something completely different, making every photo session with your dog as unique as they are.

I specialize in a guided, relaxed photography experience designed around your dog’s personality, needs, and pace. Together, we explore the wild terrain of the Olympic Peninsula, giving your dog the space to simply be themselves. I prioritize your dogs' comfort and safety above all. Working together, it is my goal to create memories that can be looked back on for a lifetime.

The result is more than a collection of photographs. While those images are incredibly meaningful, I believe it’s also about the experiences you’ll look back on and remember how fully they were lived. There’s no better backdrop for those memories than the landscapes of the Olympic Peninsula.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm planning a trip to the Olympic peninsula, can I book a session when I come to visit?

Absolutely. I would be honored to document your dogs' adventure up to the Peninsula! If you're planning a visit, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your travel dates so we can reserve a session that fits into your itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with behaviorally challenged dogs?

Yes! As a professional dog trainer, I have experience working with dogs of all personalities and behavioral backgrounds, including those who are reactive, fearful, or need a little extra space. Your dog's comfort and safety always come first, so sessions are planned around their individual needs, choosing locations and approaches that help them feel successful. My goal is to create a calm, positive experience where your dog can simply be themselves within the session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do your shoots take place?

Whether you're local or have been contemplating bringing your dog along for your trip up to the Peninsula, you're quick to learn that dogs are not permitted in the Olympic National Park. It's my goal to capture the same essence as the park without going in. All locations I provide for my shoots are in dog-permitted areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is unfavourable for an outdoor shoot?

In the event that weather conditions are unsuitable for photography and potentially put any parties at risk, we will work together to discuss alternative options. Washington is prone to sprinkles year around. Matter a fact, light rain happens to be one of my favorite conditions to shoot in! But if it doesn't fit your vision, I'm more than happy to work with you to sort out another date. There is no additional charge to reschedule a shoot due to weather.

Testimonial

"I cannot recommend Brianna enough. This was, hands down, the best photography experience I've ever had, and it was all thanks to her incredible energy and genuine talent. From the moment we met, I felt like we were immediate friends. She has the most chill, calm energy that instantly put both me and my dog, Cruzen, at ease. She was absolutely perfect with my dog, letting him sniff, wander, and be himself. There was zero pressure—she never rushed anything and patiently waited for the perfect moments to unfold naturally. This easygoing approach made the entire shoot a relaxing, joyful experience.

When she delivered the image gallery, I was completely blown away by the variety and quality. I honestly had too many favorites to choose from! But what truly astonished me was how perfectly she captured the entire personality of my pup. Every photo felt like a true, honest glimpse into his soul—his wild dog nature, his focused concentration, his forest agility. The final images were beyond what I ever could have hoped for. If you want timeless photos that capture the essence of your best friend, look no further. I am already scheduling our next shoot together!"
