Hello, I'm Brianna!
I moved up to the Peninsula three years ago to pursue my admiration for canine behavior and training. A once-lost passion was rekindled through the opportunity to photograph local rescue dogs while studying their behavior. From that experience, Fields to Focus Dog Training & Photography was formed and has been slowly evolving ever since.
With the company of my three dogs, my free time is best spent deep in the woods—on a backroad with absolutely zero cellular service. We drive endlessly, exploring locations all around the Olympic Peninsula. Not only does this provide my dogs with daily fulfillment, but it also allows for some pretty amazing location-scouting opportunities for photoshoots.
The adventures I’ve shared with dogs across the Olympic Peninsula have shaped so much of the life I live today. It’s something I can’t quite explain until you experience it for yourself. Thus, the creation of Fields to Focus.
Fields to Focus was created by combining my love for dogs and the outdoors with my knowledge of dog behavior and photography. My goal is to serve dogs and their people throughout the Olympic Peninsula and surrounding areas—helping build meaningful connections, create lasting memories, and make the most of the time we share with our dogs.

My Approach
as a dog photographer & trainer

I don’t use the title certified dog trainer lightly. Through countless hours of studying dog behavior, body language, and training—and by participating in an extensive mentorship—I’ve gained a unique depth of experience working with dogs and understanding what they need to feel safe, comfortable, and successful. Whether I’m helping you in a training capacity or creating impactful images through dog photography, my approach is rooted in meeting the dog in front of me.
I value safety, comfort, and flexibility in every photography session. I work at your dog’s pace to create an easy as possible experience for everyone involved. My questionnaire provides an in-depth look into who your dog is, not only helping me better understand their needs, but also allowing me to design a dog photography session that is as positive and stress-free as possible for your dog. My understanding of dog behavior and body language allows me to recognize when a dog needs a break, adjust my approach when needed, and capture the genuine moments.
In capturing dogs through photographs and gaining thousands of hours of hands on experience with dogs, I quickly came to learn that every single dog is unique. And with that, my training approach hones in on exactly that- working with the dog in front of me. Through a strong foundation of clear communication, my goal as a dog trainer is to create a space where we can work together, build understanding, and grow as a team. My goal is not only to set your dog up for success, but to give you the skill set and understanding to feel confident alongside them.
